Product overview
Optical isolation solutions
Apparateq offers optical isolators for the transmission of supply power to sensitive parts of your setup, or to power otherwise inaccesible locations. Other solutions include optically isolated acquisition front-ends which offer full signal and power isolation to facilitate previously impossible measurements.
Photovoltaic isolators
Our photovoltaic power isolators provide a low-cost means to ensure galvanic isolation between the sensitive parts of your system, such as a pre-amplifier or a photo detector, and the power source. In contrast to batteries, the photovoltaic isolator provides power 24/7 so that experiments do not have to be interrupted for a change of batteries.
Fibre power isolators
For the ultimate isolation, the fibre based power isolator is the answer. Our photovoltaic power isolators have a low parasitic coupling between the power source and the device being powered, and this coupling will be sufficient in may cases. However, in case of the fibre based power isolator, this coupling is virtually non-existing. Also, the fibre based power isolator allows you to power devices located at a place where very high voltages are found.
Optically isolated acquisition
Our optically isolated acquisition devices combine optical isolation of the captured signals with optical isolation of the power. By doing this, you may digitize signals with total protection from ground loops and unwanted coupling to various noise sources.
Test & Measurement
Novel building blocks that address classical needs in the T&M community: Ultra-low noise amplifiers, anti-aliasing filters, and functional modules for modular instrumentation
ULN Amplifiers
True low-noise designs with a noise density below 1 nV/√Hz are not that common. Our amplifiers target these low levels of noise, and are made for laboratory use in mind.
Anti-aliasing filters
A proper filter for preventing aliasing of unwanted signal components is essential for protecting your signal of interest. Apparateq offers a range of standard filters that suit typical sampling rates found in the laboratory environment. Further details here.
Power supply filters
Power supplies often turn out to be an unexpected source of noise. Our filters provide a high attenuation and a low output impedance, and are designed for varying loads in mind. The filters come in signal rail and dual rail variants, with our without common-mode suppression. Contact us for filters with special requirements. Find out more about our power supply filters here.
Piezo high-voltage filters
Most filters come short if you need to filter the output of a piezo stage driver. Our lowpass piezo filters are designed for the elevated voltages a piezo device may require. The filters that target high impedances and a low cut-off frequency are RC-filters with components selected for discharge robustness. Special versions, such as T-notch filters, are available. Find out more here, and download product information here.
RMS measurements
Measurements of wide-band noise from eg. power supplies often rely on obsolete RMS voltmeters, and require various precautions to carry out the measurements safely. Our RMS voltmeter can be plugged directly into an energized power supply while having a low intrincsic noise floor. The bandwidth is settable to match the requirements of power supply testing. Contact us to find out more.
Modular Instrumentation
Some of our products can be ordered with PXI form factor to allow easy integration into systems based on modular instrumentation. One example is our anti-aliasing filters. Just contact us to learn more.
Dedicated to Metrology
High-resolution frequency synthesis for Time & Frequency metrology, and building blocks that support research areas such as spectroscopy
High-resolution synthesizers
Our IntriSec synthesizers provide both a high frequency resolution and a correct phase and frequency relation to a 10 MHz laboratory reference. Thanks to the internal reference PLL with DDS in the feedback no truncation takes place for any frequency.
Frequency translators
Our reference frequency translators are specifically designed to provide a correct reference clock for legacy DDS generators from a 10 MHz laboratory reference so that the DDS generators provide the exact frequency entered. Thanks to this, and in contrast to most modern DDS generators, you may now have a frequency source without systematic errors due to DDS phase word truncation.
Impedance metrology
Our adaptors for impedance measurements turn a dual-channel digitizer or a network analyzer into an impedance analyzer. For impedance spectroscopy it is highly useful that there’s no frequency limitation downwards. The adaptors feature a standard 4-BNC interface to be used with a variety of third party test fixtures. Built-in aliasing filters allow the adaptor to be used with general purpose acquisition modules, which do not typically include such filters. Programmable channel swapping allows you to cancel out channel differences.
Triggers for cavity ringdown
The triggers for cavity ringdown experiments have a low latency time for the best experimental results. A pulse stretching feature is available.
