Frequency & Time
Novel solutions for metrology within the area of frequency and time
Ensembling off-air frequency reference
Off-air frequency references enter a new league with our ensembling receiver. A multitude of longwave time services are statistically processed to provide a frequency reference, robust to fading and transmitter events.
1330A Ensembling off-air reference
The receiver features an OCXO controlled by a frequency locked loop in which a number of longwave time services participate with different weights. The ensemble of services may contain up to five user-defined frequencies. Further details are found in our product sheet, which you find here. Antenna are ordered separately.
Loop antenna kit
The wideband (non-resonant) antenna is ideal for the reception of multiple longwave time services. For improved reception, and depending on the reception site, it may be advantageous to use two loop antenna. Contact Apparateq for details.
Metrology frequency synthesizer
A synthesizer for metrology applications does not only have a high frequency resolution. It also ensures that you get the required frequency without any unwanted systematic phase slip which often is the result in common DDS generators. Our synthesizer design features a reference loop which ensures you get the exact frequency when referenced to your 10 MHz laboratory reference.
1365A Frequency Synthesizer 20 MHz
The wide 56-bit phase accumulator in this DDS generator ensures a very high resolution of 1 nHz. The internal reference synthesizer ensures that no truncation of the phase accumulator takes place. As a result, you will get the exact frequency you have entered. Read more in our product leaflet, which you can download here.
1366A Frequency Synthesizer 80 MHz
This version of our metrology synthesizer was made for higher frequencies in mind. It features a wide 51-bit phase accumulator and a resolution of 10 nHz. The internal reference synthesizer ensures that no truncation of the phase accumulator takes place. As a result, you will get the exact frequency you have entered. Read more in our product leaflet, which you can download here.
Reference frequency translator
Get the right reference clock signal for your DDS design from your 10 MHz laboratory reference: Our translators provide a clock of the form M x 2N Hz from a 10 MHz input. This seemingly odd reference frequency is ideal for a DDS design, and is the key to providing an accurate frequency output. You may even protect your investment and turn selected third-party DDS generators into accurate frequency sources.
1750A Reference translator 10 MHz to 8.589934592 MHz
This version provides a fixed frequency of 233 mHz when connected to a 10 MHz laboratory reference. Read more in our product leaflet, which you can find here.
1750A Reference translator 10 MHz to 27.4877906944 MHz
This version provides a fixed frequency of 0.1 mHz * 238 when connected to a 10 MHz laboratory reference. Read more in our product leaflet, which you can download here.
