About Apparateq

Apparateq, a privately owned company located in Denmark, develops, manufactures and sells electronic solutions and system components for the research community. Our mission is to facilitate your experiments, test sessions and research. Apparateq offers products which enhance signal integrity, which add functionality or which make other system components work better or carry out new tasks. Our product line includes optical isolators for power and signals, application-specific filters, low-noise and specialty amplifiers, equipment for time and frequency, and other areas of metrology.

The management team

Ole S. Nielsen – CEO and Founder
Ole has a MSc in engineering, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (International Business.) With a strong background in T&M and metrology, Ole founded Apparateq in order to offer solutions to the challenges that real-life measurement setups always seem to face: Combat of noise sources, improvement of signal integrity, enhancement of setup robustness, and lowering the measurement uncertainty. Ole is dedicated to foster new ideas and products that target these challenges, and his long industry experience has provided the understanding of how to turn customer needs into the product features that make a difference.

Morten J. Christensen – Chairman of the Advisory Board
Morten has a MSc in engineering, a PhD in experimental solid state physics, and has lately completed a customised Harvard Business School course for public-private partnerships. He has gained a broad experience from both listed and unlisted companies, as both developer, board member and chairman. Morten has had central roles in a number of startup companies, which were later successfully acquired. He has lead projects funded by the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, and is a former senior member of the IEEE. He is currently affiliated with the European Spallation Source, defining the architecture for high speed data acquisition.
